Villa Mai is a green space design project where the client requested a modern style in the spaces, and where we face the challenge of adapting this style to contradictory elements, such as a wall of rustic stones that delimits the land with that of the villa collindante.
Access area
In the zone of access to housing we use a combination of materials very in tune with the architectural style of the building. With a base of ornamental gravel, we created a step with stone slabs, with a clearly modernist style.
Passage area
A style that we maintain in the area of passage that connects the access area with the area of the space dedicated to leisure (porch and pool)
Leisure area
In the leisure area, we had to carry out a series of earth movements to create a space of vegetation next to the pool where palm trees, aromatic plants and some Mediterranean species were located.
To minimize maintenance, it was decided to place artificial turf of first quality in the usable areas, to provide practicality and beauty during all times of the year.
Orchard area
The last part of the executable space was dedicated to the creation of an orchard, where the use of ornamental gravel and wooden curbs maintains the coherence of styles applied in other areas.
